Why It Matters
Period poverty is a silent crisis in South Africa. Thousands of young girls miss up to 5 days of school every month simply because they cannot afford basic sanitary products.
This absence leads to falling behind in academics, losing confidence, and in severe cases, dropping out entirely. A natural cycle should never be a barrier to a girl’s education and future.

How You Can Help
There are two ways to get involved and make an immediate difference in a young girl’s life.
Add a Pack at Checkout
When purchasing a gift hamper, simply select the option to “Add a Butterfly Pack” before checkout. The cost covers one girl’s full sanitary needs for a month.
Physical Donation Bin
Are you local to Port Elizabeth? Drop off sealed sanitary pads at our collection bin at our Walmer address during our regular business hours each weekday here.
